SECC has been successful in it’s applications for county re-grant funds from both Cumberland and Salem Counties via the New Jersey Historical Commission/Department of State and the Cumberland and Salem County Boards of Chosen Freeholders through both the Cumberland County Cultural and Heritage Commission and the Salem County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
Cumberland County Historical Commission will be funding a special project proposal with a $5,300 contribution. The project includes a three-phase strategic planning project contracting with R & R Creative, oral history workshop with Rutgers University Oral History Department, and public programming with food historian Judith Krall-Russo.
The Salem County Cultural and Heritage Commission is funding a two-part Living History Program in Salem County addressing civil rights, contracting with American Historic Theatre, with a $1,000 contribution.
